Day 1: Respectable Government

I call it the 80/20 Rule. In Wyoming, we agree on about 80 percent of the issues. Yet too often, the Legislature spends most of its time fighting over the other 20 percent.

"We need to focus on the 80% that we all agree on and then hammer out the issues and move forward."

I believe we should start where we agree, make meaningful progress, and then work through the tougher issues with honesty and respect. That's not avoiding disagreements, it's solving them.

That's how neighbors have always handled challenges in Campbell County. You begin with common ground, sit down face to face, and work toward practical solutions. It builds trust, strengthens communities, and gets things done.

For more than 30 years, that's how I've approached leadership. I've listened first, treated people with respect, and focused on results instead of political drama. That's the same approach I'll bring to the Wyoming Senate: find common ground, solve real problems, and never lose sight of the people we're there to serve.
